In Delhi, Parents are on protest against fee hike in Delhi

In Delhi, Parents are on protest against fee hike in Delhi

Parents of children studying in a private school in South Delhi staged a protest against the school authorities on Thursday after they cut the electricity supply in the classes for not paying the increased school fees. The parents alleged that the school has increased the fee by 12 percent despite the high courts order not to do so. However, school principal Sangeeta Arora said that high court’s order does not implement on their school as it is built on private land and not on the Delhi Development Authority’s land. "It is informed that the HC order referred in your mail pertains to schools that have come up on land allotted by DDA or other governmental agencies. Our school has come up on private land. The allegation of the school increasing the fees despite HC order is therefore not tenable," she said. Gautam Sharma, whose son studies in class 5, said, "They have increased fee by 12 per cent despite the high court's order and they are forcing parents to pay the hiked fees. Due to non-payment of hiked fee, they have turned off AC and fans of the school and students are studying in such a hot temperature."Another parent Preeti Kapoor, said, "Height of shamelessness and irresponsibility has been seen in the K R Manglam School. Teachers left small kids alone and unsafe in the class against the protests, shocking to see that this can happen even in the world class school.""Fee hike in private schools is torturing both parents and children. When parents refused to pay increased fees, the school management switched off lights and AC inside classrooms to disturb the kids," Saranpreet Singh.Parents also took to Twitter to post the protest and chaos inside the classrooms. School principal, however, said that the school fees is the only source of income and parents need to understand that with the implementation of the seventh CPC increase in the staff’s salary necessitate corresponding increase in the fee.

Score more by avoiding these Six common mistakes during the NEET 2019 exam preparation

Score more by avoiding these Six common mistakes during the NEET 2019 exam preparation

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2019) is just around the corner. It is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2019 and most of the students must have already started revisions for the exam as it is national level entrance test. Below are some tips which will help NEET aspirants score more during the exam: Since NEET is a time bound test and candidates are always in a hurry to solve the maximum number of questions. One fatal mistake that any candidate can make is not reading the question correctly which can lead to fatal errors in the answers. Hence, students are advised to read all the questions properly they wish to attempt in the exam.Speed plays an important role in the exam. Candidates are advised to maintain proper speed form the start of the exam and this can be done by attempting the questions which they know the answer to at the beginning of the exam. This will give them the confidence to tackle tougher questions later in the exam.Set a maximum time frame for each section so that you are able to attempt a sufficient number of questions from each section.Speed is important to crack the NEET exam but not at the cost of accuracy otherwise you will attract negative marks. Hence, it is important that you attempt the questions with maximum accuracy.Do not take the help of guesswork just to increase your attempt in the exam. Remember there are negative marks for the wrong answers. So, if you don’t know the answer simply move to the next question.
